The Colours
Three skeins of 100% British wool yarn are included: teal, plum pink and pale pink. Together these create the characteristic interlocking check of a tartan pattern - bold where the deeper colours cross, softer where teal and pale pink meet. The finished scarf has a distinctly contemporary tartan character.

Finished scarf: approximately 23cm wide × 150cm long, with a 13cm fringe at each end.
Loom Compatibility
To weave this scarf you will need a rigid heddle loom with:
- A 7.5 or 8 ends per inch (epi) heddle
- A total of 82 holes and slots
- 3 shuttles

Skill Level
The tartan pattern is suitable for weavers who have already warped their loom and woven in plain tabby weave. It is not a first-project kit for complete beginners, but it is very achievable for anyone who has completed one weaving project before. The instruction booklet guides you through the tartan warp sequence and weaving process step by step.
