The workshop is suitable for complete beginners who have not woven before. For those who have woven previously, there is the option of learning how to use pick up sticks to introduce different patterns and textures. Suitable for ages 18 and over.

Where is the weaving workshop held?

The workshop is held at Alderbury Village Hall, Rectory Road, Alderbury, Salisbury, SP5 3AD. There is plenty of free parking available on site.

What will I make at the weaving workshop?

Participants weave a length of 100% British wool fabric sufficient for a cowl, table runner or full-length scarf. Most participants complete a full-length scarf on the day and take it home to wash and finish.

What is the cancellation policy for the weaving workshop?

If you give more than 14 days' notice you can transfer to another workshop or receive a voucher valid for one year. With less than 14 days' notice a transfer is only possible if your place is re-sold. You may send someone in your place at any time with prior notice.

What should I bring to the weaving workshop?

Participants should bring their own lunch and a pair of scissors. Tea, coffee, water and biscuits are provided throughout the day.
