Learn to weave woven pieces of art or tapestries with this large frame loom beginners weaving kit. Included is a fully assembled loom along with all accessories ready for the creative journey to begin.  The kit would be a great gift for someone who likes yarn crafts and would like to have a go at weaving.
 
Our frame loom kit comes with side supports and two heddle rods to facilitate tabby weaving  as it enables you to easily separate the warp threads to create a shed through which the shuttle and weft thread are passed.  In addition the kit contains a tapestry needle for fine detail weaving, 6 balls of British wool, a comb, yarn, heddle yarn, a heddle template and a weaving instruction booklet.
 
The frame loom has been designed, cut and made by us in the UK.  The loom is made from FSC and PEFC birch plywood.  The dimensions of the loom are:  33cm x 44cm with a weaving area of approximately 28cm x 30cm.
 
The kit comes with a selection of 6 balls of the British wool with the option of purchasing a pink or orange based selection as an add on.  A bag with several pockets inside to hold all the accessories and yarn inside can also be purchased with this kit if you wish.
