A Yarn and Pattern Kit for Rigid Heddle Loom Owners — 4 Skeins of 100% British Wool in Dark and Light Pink and Dark and Light Green

Weave a pink and green scarf in 100% British wool - four shades that work together to create a scarf with more tonal depth than a standard two-colour kit. This is a yarn and pattern kit for weavers who already own a rigid heddle loom. The loom is not included.

The Four Shades

This kit uses four British wool shades across two colours: dark pink, light pink, dark green and light green. Using both light and dark variations within each colour creates tonal depth in the woven structure - the light and dark tones interact across the weave surface to produce a richer visual effect than a flat two-colour kit. The four shades are woven together to produce a scarf that is vibrant, warm, and more complex-looking than its construction requires.

What You'll Weave

The finished scarf is approximately 23cm wide and 150cm long, with a 12cm fringe at each end.

What is Included

  • 4 skeins of 100% British wool - dark pink, light pink, dark green and light green - sufficient to weave the full scarf
  • Weaving instruction booklet with threading sequence, warp colour order, and weft pattern for the [pattern] design

The loom, heddle, shuttles, and finished scarf shown in the images are not included. This is a yarn and pattern kit for weavers who already own a compatible loom.

Loom Compatibility

This kit requires a rigid heddle loom with a 7.5 or 8epi heddle and 82 holes and slots total. Two shuttles are needed, each holding two colours of yarn. The pattern works on any compatible rigid heddle loom.

If you do not yet own a loom, a bundle option with the TabbyandTweed rigid heddle loom is available in the shop.

Made in the UK

The pattern is designed by TabbyandTweed in their Salisbury, Wiltshire workshop. The yarn is 100% British wool.
