This kit is a great project for a rigid heddle loom weaver who is looking for an intermediate kit to extend their skills whilst enabling them to weave a beautiful rainbow triangle scarf. The scarf is woven in a sealed circle creating a woven triangle where the start and the finish of the scarf meet. The kit comes with the 8 skeins of soft British wool along with detailed instructions to help you to navigate the pattern to create your unique scarf.
This project is for a weaver who has their own rigid heddle weaving loom and who is confident in warping their loom and would be interested in weaving this fun scarf.
The loom and scarf shown is not included.
The kit creates a brightly coloured scarf which can be looped around the neck twice with a triangle area which can be worn either at the front or the side.
The kit includes:
- 8 skein of British wool as shown (navy is the main colour with the rainbow colours)
- a weaving instruction booklet
To use this kit you will need to have a rigid heddle loom with either a 7.5 or 8 ends per inch heddle with a total of 78 (holes/slots). 4 shuttles would be useful as each shuttle could be wound with two different coloured yarns. The loom is not included in this kit.
