What You'll Weave
A pink, lime and turquoise houndstooth scarf in 100% British wool - bold, bright, and striking. The three-colour design uses three shuttles (one per colour), each used in rotation across the weft sequence. The instruction booklet covers the full process: setting up the loom, warping the three-colour sequence, and weaving the houndstooth pattern from start to finish.
The finished scarf is approximately 23cm wide and 150cm long, with a 12cm fringe at each end.
The Four Colours
The kit uses four distinct shades of 100% British wool:
- Pink - a mid pink
- Teal - a deep blue-green
- Turquoise - a brighter, more vivid blue-green
- Lime green - a fresh, sharp yellow-green

Loom Compatibility
This kit requires a rigid heddle loom with a 7.5 or 8epi heddle and 82 holes and slots total. Two shuttles are needed. The pattern works on any compatible rigid heddle loom. If you need an 8epi heddle, it is available in the TabbyandTweed accessories range.

How do you weave with four colours?
Ideally you will use 4 shuttles but if you only have 2 then you can wind 2 colours onto each shuttle. You can purchase extra shuttles in our weaving accessory range.

No. This is a yarn and pattern kit for weavers who already own a rigid heddle loom. A complete loom kit with the same pink/lime/turquoise colourway is also available for buyers who want to buy with a loom.
What is the difference between teal and turquoise in this kit?
