If you are looking for a project to use on your rigid heddle weaving loom then look no further than this bright scarf weaving kit. This kit is perfect for someone who has a rigid heddle loom already and would like to weave this gorgeous scarf using British and hand dyed yarn. The kit includes two skeins of British bright blue wool and a skein of hand dyed rainbow yarn (75% merino wool and 25% nylon) along with instuctions to weave the scarf. The loom and scarf are not included in the kit but the scarf images are included to show you what will be woven with this kit. This kit would be a perfect project for someone who is looking to build up their confidence in using their own loom creating the fabulous scarf.
Whilst the loom is not included with this kit it is available as an option to purchase within our shop.
The kit creates a scarf which is approximately 22cm wide, 150cm long with an additional 12cm fringe at each end. The pattern is relatively straightforward and would suit a beginner
The kit includes:
- 3 skeins of yarn - two are bright blue 100% British wool and the thrid is a skein of handdyed 75% merino and 25% nylon yarn sufficient to weave the scarf.
- a weaving instruction booklet
To use this kit you will need to have a rigid heddle loom with either a 7.5 or 8 ends per inch heddle with a total of 80 (holes/slots) and 2 shuttles. This loom is not included in this kit.
