This weaving loom gift box kit contains a bookmark and square frame loom along with some beautiful red, white and green British yarn with instructions to weave a beautiful bookmark and coaster.     The instruction booklet has details on how to weave tabby weave, twill weave and a houndstooth. There is plenty to learn whilst creating great bookmarks and coasters or fabric patches.
 
The Tartan design is simply symmetrical in the warp and weft threads but there is a link to a detailed blog on how to design your own tartan weave.
