The perfect project for someone who has their own rigid heddle loom and would like a project to do. This kit enables you to weave yourself a unique luxury 100% British wool scarf. Incorporating a detailed weaving pattern for a rigid heddle loom and 'Wool Decanted' Vintage 23 yarn which a beautifully soft and smooth yarn. The yarn is produced from Falkland Polwarth, Romney and black Shetland fibres the 100% British wool blend is a joy to weave with.
The loom and the scarf shown are not included as you will be weaving one yourself using your own loom but we do have this scarf kit in a different kit with the loom included.
The kit creates a stunning scarf which is approximately 23cm wide, 140cm long with an additional 10cm fringe at each end. The colourblock pattern is a perfect choice for a beginner who wants to build up their confidence weaving with their loom.
The kit includes:
- 3 x 50g skeins of ‘Wool Decanted’ British wool, two in bottle green and one in natural grey.
To use this kit you will need to have a rigid heddle loom with either a 7.5 or 8 ends per inch heddle with a total of 84 (holes/slots) and 2 shuttles - this is not included in this kit.
